Running Main Panel Diagnostics
1.
The Diagnostics User Interface menu will appear on the terminal screen
after the Control Panel Processor board is reset in the panel with the
following selections:
Begin Diagnostics User Interface
B Begin Diagnostics
M Menu Display Control
Q Quit Diagnostics

Select
B
and press
Enter
on your keyboard
to begin the diagnostics.

Select the letter of the Main panel area you need to troubleshoot (
B
,
I
,
P,
or
S
) outlined in
and press
Enter
.
4.
Select the letter corresponding to the type of diagnostic test within the
test area to perform and press
Enter
to begin the test.
Press
Enter
to exit a diagnostic. Use the
X
key to move up in the menu
structure in any of the routines.
Complete instructions for each test are given on the terminal screen as
the tests progress. During the tests, you will be asked to view both the
terminal display and the M/E E-MEM and Transition Rate displays on
the Main panel depending on the type of test. Refer to
for an illustration of Main panel display locations.
5.
When finished with all of the diagnostic tests, press
Q
to quit.
6.
Remove the null modem cable from port Com 1.
