Make sure no unnecessary software applications have been loaded on
the Menu panel platform. Running other applications slows the system
down and may interfere with operation.
Menu Panel Calibration
If you are unable to select items in the Menu with the touch screen, the
Menu panel may need to be calibrated. The Menu panel calibration proce-
dure is described in detail on
Touch Screen Calibration on page 136
.
Menu Panel Hard Drive
The Menu panel is composed of a Single Board Computer (SBC) with an
internal hard drive. It may be helpful to use the Windows 2000 Disk
Defragmenter utility in System Tools periodically to defragment the hard
drive and allow the computer to run more efficiently.
