GPI Inputs
Eight GPI inputs on the rear of the Video Processor frame can be connected
to external devices to trigger an action on the Zodiak switcher. See
for cabling information and pinout specifications.
Suite Prefs – GPI In Settings Menu
The GPI In Settings menu (
) allows programming of the eight
Zodiak system GPI inputs on the Video Processor frame. Various actions
can be performed on the switcher when a GPI contact closes from an
external device, including selecting a source on a bus, recalling an E-MEM,
triggering a transition, and running a previously set up effect. The GPI
input can be given a name for easy identification. The GPI In menu is
reached via
Daily Setups
,
Suite Prefs
, and touching the
GPI In Settings
button.

To program a GPI input action, follow the steps below.
1.
Touch the GPI input to program from the GPI In scrolling list in the
central pane.
