24-Crosspoint Remote Aux Panels
24-Crosspoint Remote Aux Panels
The Zodiak switcher communicates with the optional 24-Crosspoint
Remote Aux panels through a serial connection. You may connect a 24-
Crosspoint Remote Aux panel to any of the four serial ports (Serial 1 –
Serial 4) on the rear of the Video Processor frame. Refer to
for physical Remote Aux panel installation
and cabling information.
Note
32-Crosspoint Remote Aux panels communicate via the Menu LAN and do
not require device definition in this menu. Refer to
for installation and configuration instructions.
To configure a serial port for a 24-Crosspoint Remote Aux panel, do the fol-
lowing:
1.
Touch the
(Remote Aux Panel)
button in the Device List in the Eng Setup,
). The Device Name will default to
Remote Aux Panel and cannot be renamed or removed.

Touch the Assigned Serial Port data pad to bring up the Port
Configuration menu.
3.
Touch the serial port to which you have connected the Remote Aux
panel.
