Editor Interface
As of Zodiak Software Release 1.2.0, basic editor control is supported.
Zodiak protocol command capabilities include:
•
Source select for all M/E, Key, Preview, and Aux buses,
•
Split key on all key buses (including DSK),
•
Transition Mode, Rate, and Triggers,
•
All Stop command,
•
E-MEM Recall and Run trigger, and
•
Save and Load data and status,
•
Timeline control,
•
Software version,
•
Switcher model features, and
•
Wipe Select.
You may also use the GVG Model 4000 editor protocol but capabilities will
be limited to the following:
•
Source select for A, B, Key 1 & 2, Aux buses,
•
Transition Mode, Rate, and Triggers,
•
All Stop,
•
E-MEM Recall and Run trigger, and
•
Wipe Select.
In addition, as of Release 1.2.0, the Zodiak system does not respond with
the same timing as a Grass Valley Group Model 4000 switcher. Edit con-
troller adjustments need to be made to make Zodiak changes line up with
other commands issued by the edit controller. See your edit controller
manual for adjustment procedures.
