Router Interface
R-MEM, however, is actually separate from E-MEM to permit fine control
over which switcher sources are affected. R-MEM can be assigned to an
E-MEM enable group, if desired, to provide E-MEM control of R-MEM
functions.

Router Interface Installation
Control Interface Cabling
Connect an Ethernet cable from the Zodiak system Ethernet switch to the
SMS 7000 network. In Release 3.0, the Zodiak system can communicate
with devices on different networks via a gateway router. If a gateway
router is not used, the SMS 7000 router must be on the same subnet at the
Zodiak system. Refer to Network Configuration in the Zodiak Installation
and Service Manual.
Video Interface Cabling
Connect each SMS 7000 destination to an available input connector on the
Zodiak Video Frame. You will need to know the module and J number of
each input connector used for each destination when you configure the
Zodiak source (see below).
Router Configuration
This procedure assumes the SMS 7000 has already been configured for
basic use in your facility, and only needs to be reconfigured to interface
with the Zodiak system. If the SMS 7000 router is not already configured,
you will need to define the node controller, physical matrix, virtual matrix,
levels, sources, and destinations (see the SMS 7000 Configuration Manual).
