Lance Design TDC-100 Controller Peripheral Bus II Control
Capabilities
The Zodiak interface with the Lance Design TDC-100 controller supports
Learn, Recall, and various Trigger operations.
The first 100 registers of the TDC-100 correspond to the 100 registers on the
Zodiak system (numbered 0-99 on both systems). Learning a register on the
Zodiak system stores the corresponding register on the TDC-100 with the
current cue point and device enable information. Recalling that register on
the Zodiak will recall the TCD-100 register and cue the enabled devices.
Triggers from the Zodiak system can then be issued to control the devices.
Control Cabling
Connect the P-BUS IN port on the TDC-100 frame with a standard RS-422
9-pin serial cable to any unused serial port (Serial 1 – Serial 4) on the rear of
the Zodiak Video Processor frame (
