Wrong polarity or a short-circuit or low voltage (deep-discharged battery) is present.
OUTPUT4~OUTPUT7:
These four outputs do not feature an automatic charging termination circuit. So
the charge process must be terminated manually when the appropriate charge period has elapsed.
Note:
The charge time is calculated as follows:
Charge time in hours = battery capacity (AH) × 1.4
Charge current (A)
Example: 7.2V/1.5Ah battery: Charge time in hours = 1.5Ah × 1.4 = 3.5 hours
0.6A
Rechargeable battery types
Nickel-Cadmium batteries (eg. SCE, SCR, AR, AE, KR series etc.) with a capacity of 0.25-7Ah. These
sealed, gas-tight nickel-cadmium cells have proved excellent for modelling purposes. They are
mechanically robust and can be used in any attitude. Their sole disadvantage is their susceptibility to
what is known as the "memory effect".
This means that their effective capacity is reduced if they are partially discharged repeatedly. The
memory effect can be reduced by giving the pack several discharge/charge cycles, in which the pack
is discharged down to almost 0V before being recharged.
Nickel-Metal-Hydride batteries (e.g. CS, P, RC series etc.) with a capacity of 0.25-7Ah. This type of
