reference! Take this into consideration when you pass it on to other
future owner.

Intended Use

The GR-18 can also be used to control airplane and helicopter models.
To do so  you will need to  perform a firmware update  which can be
downloaded  over  the  internet  at

www.graupnerusa.com

  or

www.graupner.com

You also need to download the accompanying

manual  describing  airplane  and  helicopter  use  with  the  GR-18  flight
controller. More detailed information can be found in the technical data
section. The receiver is designed exclusively to be used in a battery-
powered, radio controlled model, any other use is not allowed.

For any improper use no warranty or liability is accepted. Read through
this manual to familiarize yourself with the product before you attempt
to program or setup the receiver. Graupner constantly works on the
development of all of its products. We reserve the right to change the
product, product functionality and capabilities.

This receiver is not a toy. It is not suitable for children under the age of
14. The installation and operation of the controller must be performed
by  experienced  modellers.  If  you  do  not  have  sufficient  knowledge
about  operating  radio-controlled  models,  please  contact  an
experienced modeller or a model club.

MULTICOPTER Installation

The receiver must be placed in line with one side of the Multicopter.
Secure it to a flat protected space. The bottom of the receiver must
always be parallel to one of the multicopter sides. Secure the receiver
with high quality double-sided tape to reduce any vibrations that may
affect accurate operation of the receiver.

Binding

The binding is only possible if the receiver has not yet been bound to
another  transmitter  (red  LED  blinks).  Pushing  the  SET  button  the
receiver will be set in Bind mode.

If  you  want  to  bind  an  already  bound  receiver  to  another  receiver,
follow the next steps:

Turn off the RF module in the

your radio manual)

Switch on the receiver and push the SET button to bring it to
bind mode. Press bin

 menu.

When the red light turns off and the green LED light turns on,
the binding was successful.
