GR-18 Firmware Update
using a PC running Windows Vista, 7 or 8. You will also need a USB
interface (order no. 7168.6) and adapter lead (order no. 7168.6A or
7168.S), which are available separately. Please note that some of the
mz, mx and mc series radios already contain the complete cable set
to perform firmware updates.
You will need the latest Firmware Update Studio program which can
be downloaded from
Connect the adapter lead to the USB interface (order no. 7168.6). The
connectors are reverse polarity protected: note the small chamfers on
the sides. Never use force the connectors should engage easily.

Follow the online instructions for installing the Firmware Update Studio
and after the installation and start-up verify that the right COM port is
selected. To update your gyro receiver firmware scroll down to the
bottom and select
