Servos for the rudder and elevators as well as the motor throttle must attached using
the bolts included with the servos.
The length of the rods must be adjusted so that when the control surfaces are in
neutral position, the servos are also in neutral position. The throttle rod is adjusted so
that the carburettor is half open when the servo is in centre position.
Depending on the motor used, the necessary cut-outs for the cylinder head, silencer,
et cetera, must now be cut/filed in the engine bonnet.
To attach the engine bonnet to the fuselage, the four attachment points also have to
be marked on the engine bonnet. To do so, cut four strips of scrap wood and drill a Ø
3 mm hole in each one as shown in the photo.
Now each strip is
fastened to the
fuselage using an M3 Allen screw and taped in place as shown in the photo.
