FIGURE 2
Never leave the Handi-Kleen unattended with parts in the tank which would prevent the cover from closing
completely in the event of a fire. Always make sure that the cover remains in its correct, slightly tilted
forward position when open. Do NOT tamper with or remove the fusible safety link. If the safety link
breaks or is lost, replace immediately. Keep the cover closed when the unit is not being used.
Filter Baskets
The filter basket (FIGURE 2(N)) rests on the tank floor for the PL364 and hooks to the back of the tank on
the PL424, underneath the work shelf and is easily removed for cleaning. Solvent flows from the flex hose
(FIGURE 2(O)) onto the work shelf and drains through slots in the back of the work shelf into the filter
basket located at the middle rear of the tank. Heavy soils will drop to the bottom of the rectangular container.
Solvent will then flow through the filter pad (FIGURE 2(M)) and back into the tank.
Keeping the filter basket clean will prolong solvent life.
Work Shelves and Parts Baskets
Position the work shelf support legs to the rear of the unit; the filter is in between the legs. Hook the parts
basket on the right side of tank in front of pump.
