ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
CAUTION!
Risk of injury
Before starting any servicing or setting operation, switch off
the engine and take off the key from the control panel.
Carrying out the above mentioned operations require
wearing safety gloves, goggles or face shield, ear protectors
and safety shoes.
CAUTION!
Never turn the flywheel with hands. Before approaching
the blades or counter-blade with hands, make sure the
flywheel is completely still.
11.7 Replacing and adjusting
the blades and counter-blades
VERSION WITH ADJUSTABLE
BLADES
Follow the instructions included in
Chapter 11.2;
Loosen and remove the fastening
screws and then take off the blades

and the blade-holders
(D);
Mount the newly sharpened blades
and blade-holders;
Act on screws
(A)
and nuts-locknuts
(B)
to draw the blade near the counter-
blade
Insert a 1-mm template between
blades and counter-blade and verify
that parallelism is precise and
accurate;
Lock the counter-blade and blades
with their own screws, by applying

N/m
driving torque.
