ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
CAUTION!
Risk of injury
Carrying out the above mentioned operations require wearing
safety gloves, goggles or face shield, ear protectors and safety
shoes.
CAUTION!
Before starting any servicing or setting operation, switch off the
engine and take off the key from the control panel.
11.16 Checking the tension/
replacing the driving belts
(motorised version)
Switch off the engine and make sure
the flywheel is completely still.
Loosen the screws in the safety guard
(C)
and take off the guard
.
Check the belt tensioning
(T)
by
pressing down with a hand. If the belt
bows down more than 15 mm, its
tension has to be adjusted
.
Check the driving belts serviceability
and change them in case they are
worn out.
To this purpose, carry out the following
steps:
Loosen the 4 screws in the engine
mount
(R).
Loosen the locknut and the adjusting
screw
(V)
Replace the belts
Tighten the screw
(V)
and check the
belt tension. Tighten the locknut and
the screws
(R)
Put in place the guard
(C)
and secure it
with fastening screws.
