4.1.2 Set Target Spheres
If the acquisition environments are lacking for distinctive features or are not obvious, it would be necessary to place target spheres before
collecting data to ensure multi-platform data stitching.
Note:
At least 3 target spheres shall be placed between two adjacent stations. Do not place them on the same line, and avoid obstacles
between the scanner and the target sphere.
The recommended distance between the target spheres and the scanner is 5-10 m for the best data quality.
It is recommended to set the target spheres in a zigzag row at different elevation (the magnet at the bottom of the target sphere can be
attached to street lights or cars).
The distance between the three target spheres should not be too close. Otherwise, only partial splicing effect is good. The recommended
distance is not less than 3m.

4.2 System Initialization
1.Turn on the System: Turn on the battery by pressing its power button once, and then press and hold for 2 seconds. The red light in the
center of the button will illuminate when the battery is on. To turn the battery off, repeat this procedure.
