BELT ADJUSTMENT
The correct tension of the belt is essential for a good performance. After the first half hour of operation, you must
readjust. Subsequently, the tension of the belt should be checked every 2 hours of operation.
Never operate without all the protections in place.
1. Disconnect the spark plug cap from the spark plug.
2. Loosen the tension wheel on the belt.
3. Remove the belt protection cover.
4. Lift the engine and remove the belt.
5. When a new belt is installed, readjust and tighten the tension wheel of the belt so that it is levelled when
the belt tightens.
6. Reinstall the belt protection cover.
This procedure has to be repeated until the straps are completely tense. If the adjustment can not be carried out
successfully, replace the belt.
FUEL DRAINAGE
1. Remove the fuel cap and filter.
2. Drain all fuel from the tank into an approved container. We recommend using a hand fuel pump available
commercially.
3. Reinstall the fuel filter and the fuel tank cap.
ATTENTION:
Fuel is extremely flammable and explosive under certain conditions. Perform this task
in a well-ventilated area with the engine off. Do not smoke or allow flames or sparks in the area
during this procedure.
BLADES
Blades should be checked regularly. Dull blades will reduce work efficiency and cause damage to the machine.
LUBRICATING THE BLADE
Remove the green shield and apply lubricant with a grease gun. This should be done every 6 months, depending on
the use.
