CLOTHING AND PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

Dress appropriately. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery that may get caught in moving parts. We recommend
the use of:

VIBRATIONS

A high level of vibrations and long periods of exposure are the factors that contribute to the disease of the
white fingers and toes (Raynaud’s Phenomenon). In order to reduce the risk of white fingers and toe disease, it is
necessary to take these recommendations into account:

FUEL SAFETY

Gasoline/Fuel/Petrol and oil are dangerous. Do not inhale or swallow them. If you ingest fuel and / or oil, see your
doctor immediately. If you come in contact with the fuel or with the oil, clean yourself with plenty of soap and
water as soon as possible. If you feel irritated eyes or skin, consult a doctor immediately.
•
Fuel and oil are dangerous and highly flammable chemicals. If they ignite, extinguish the fire with a dry powder
extinguisher.
•
Do not spill fuel or smoke near the machine.
•
Always turn off the engine before refuelling.
•
Always refuel in well-ventilated areas and never with the engine running, or when is hot.
•
If you find a fuel leak, do not start or run the engine until the leak has been repaired.
•
Make sure that the fuel cap is properly closed.
•
Fuel stored in the carburettor for long periods of time can cause hard starting and could also lead to further
repairs and maintenance.
•
Always store the fuel in approved containers
