Fire Mode (Optional):
The waterwash system also provides water spray for the exhaust plenum when the system is in fire mode. This is
in addition to the hood’s automatic fire suppression system. When the fire suppression system discharges, it
activates the waterwash system (without the detergent) and the optional continuous cold water mist to spray
water within the exhaust plenum and turns on the fan circuit. The system will shut off when the fire protection
system is reset. It can also be shut off manually by turning off the water flow in the waterwash control station.
