Using the Features
Basic Features
• Range: Press RANGE once to change to manual ranging; the
AUTO
icon will disappear.
In the manual ranging mode, press RANGE to select the appropriate range for the measure-
ment you want to make. Press and hold RANGE for two seconds to return to the autoranging
mode. The
AUTO
icon will appear.
• Store: Press STORE and the MEM icon will appear. The value on the display will be stored in
the memory. If the meter shuts off automatically, press PWR RST (Power Reset) to restore
power without clearing the memory.
The memory will be cleared when the meter is turned OFF.
• Recall: Use this function after using Store. Press RECALL to restore the value in memory.
The
icon will appear and the
MEM
icon will appear and blink. The data stored in memory
will appear. The automatic POWER-OFF feature is disabled.
Press HOLD
to exit the Recall mode.
• Hold: Press HOLD
and the
icon will appear. The beeper will emit a tone and the
display will be held constant until HOLD
is pressed again.
