14.7 Checking the hydraulic system
Risk of injury and infection from
hydraulic fluid.
Fluids (hydraulic oil) escaping under
high pressure may penetrate the skin
and cause severe injury.
• Use suitable tools when looking for
leakages!
• Set down implements,
depressurise the system, switch off
the engine and remove the ignition
key before commencing work on
the hydraulic system!
• Consult a doctor immediately in
case of injury!

The period of usage for hydraulic hoses must not exceed 5-6 years.

Check the date of manufacture.

Check the hydraulic system, lines and hoses for leak-tightness and if necessary re-tighten
the threaded connections.
NOTE
The hydraulic hoses employed must comply with the technical specifications of the
implement manufacturer.
