ASSEMBLY AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
IMPORTANT!
Read these assembly instructions completely and follow them closely before attempting to use your Grill
Time grill.
Preparation.
1. Remove outer packaging.
2. Disassemble the grill and all components
3. Check the contents of your Grill Time grill carefully and make sure all items are included.
Operation
Note: When using your Grill TIme grill for the first time, the charcoal drum may have a thin coating of oil
on the surface as a result of the manufacturing process. This may cause the grill to smoke for the first few
minutes as the grill becomes hot. Allow the grill a 3-5 minute “burn off” period to remove any oil from
the drum.
1. Remove the battery box cover and install the 4 AA batteries (included) in the battery box.
2. Fill the charcoal drum with the desired amount of charcoal and install the cover.
3. Apply 2-3 oz. of lighter gel on the center of the ignition plate in circular shape.
4. Turn the fan control knob clockwise to it’s maximum “ON” position.
5. Light the starter gel with an appropriate long-stem trigger lighter.
6. Place the charcoal drum over the ignition plate.
7. Place the grate on top of the grill and lock into position using two the latches on the side of the
outer grill shell.
8. Adjust the temperature up or down (after the initial 3 to 4 minute start up period) by turning the fan
control knob clockwise (higher) or counter clockwise (lower).
9. Allow the charcoal to burn for at least 3 minutes before cooking.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Note:
When cleaning your grill, take special care to make sure the bottom of the grill, the battery box and fan
assembly are not exposed to water or moisture of any kind.
Important:
Do not use any acidic solvents or any flammable liquids in the cleaning or operation of your Grill Time grill.
WARNING!
The grill must be completely cool before cleaning. Attempting to clean a hot grill may cause severe burns
to the operator, and may damage the grill components which may not be covered by your warranty.
