1. Assemble the barbecue following the assembly instructions ca

2. Connect the gas hose to the barbecue. Connect the
r
egulator to the hose.
3. Connect the

egulator to the cylinder valve following the
r
egulator instructions supplied with the
r
egulato
r
.

ning on the gas supply to the appliance.

LIGHTING YOUR BARBECUE
Lighting Instructions: Main Burners
1. Open the lid befo
r
e lighting.
2. Connect the gas cylinder to the barbecue following the instructions supplied with the
r
egulato
r
.

ol knobs to the ‘ OFF’ position.

Tur
n ‘ON’ the gas supply at the cylinder or
r
egulator switch following the
r
egulator connection and
operating instructions. Check the cylinder to
r
egulator connection and hose to barbecue hose inlet
connection for leakage using soapy wate
r
. Any leakage will show as bubbles in the a
r
ea of the leak.
If leak is found, do not use the barbecue. Consult your gas or barbecue supplier for advice.

ol knob anti-clockwise to the
90° position (full rate position). An audible click will be
hear
d, this should light the bu
rner
. Check that
the bu

ner is alight. If the bu

ner has not lit,

epeat this p

ocess.
6. If the bu

ner has not lit after two attempts, tu
r
n ‘OFF’ the gas tap and wait 5 minutes befo
re retrying
the ignition sequence.
7. When the bu
r
ner has lit, the bu
r
ner rate can be adjusted by push down and tu
r
n the knob anti-
clockwise to any position between the full and low rate position.
8. Light the

emaining bu
r
ners f
r
om left to right in sequence.
9.

n ‘OFF’ the barbecue, tu

n the cylinder valve handle or
r
egulator switch to the ‘OFF’ position by
following the
r
egulator instructions. Once the bu
r
ners have extinguished tu
r
n all the cont
r
ol knobs to
the ‘ OFF’ position.
Warning:
If any bu

ner fails to ignite, tu

n the cont
r
ol knob off (clockwise) and also tu
r
n the cylinder
valve off. Wait five minutes befo
r
e attempting to
r
elight with ignition sequence.
