- This lantern has been designed for use in interior. For safety operation, max. ambient temperatu-
re must not exceed 50°C.
- Caution: the surface temperature of the spot can reach 120°C
- Caution: hot lamp; ensure that the lamp is cold before to attempt to remove it (about 10 minu-
tes)
- Caution: we strongly recommend to attach a safety chain to the SPOT 300/500 and secure it to
the main mounting framework, to arrest the fall of the unit in the unlikely event that the primary
mounting arrangement fails.

of the lantern.
2) Clean the lamp with the cleaning towel and fit it carefully in the lamp holder.

the spotlight is reversed, the lamp will overheat and drastically reduce lamp life.
Mounting position
A Ø 12,5mm hole is provided in the fork to attach the spotlight to a clamp or bracket.
Electrical connection
1) Connect the supply cable to a plug capable to support a load of at least 10 Amps.
2) Connect the spotlight to a mains supply of 230V - 50/60Hz.
USE OF THE LANTERN
Operation
The lamp used for the SPOT 300/500 is a 300W or 500W halogen lamp GY9.5 base. The PC lens
version gives an intense and precise beam of light, whereas the Fresnel lens provides a diffuse
output, giving a soft edge to the beam.
Beam angle
To adjust the beam angle turn the knob located on the rear side of the lantern. Turning the knob
clockwise will reduce the angle whereas turning it anti-clockwise will increase the angle.
