Dismantling/Empty out the
Grass Collection Box:
6. Lift the impact protection (6) and
remove the grass collection box
(19).
7. Empty catchment basket (see
chapter „Disposal / Environmen
-
tal Protection“) and re-install it.
Level gauge
The level gauge (19a) is located on the
side of the grass catcher (19). The aero
-
dynamic air guidance provided by the flap
also optimises the filling.

Mulch kit
Prior to using the mulch kit, the
lateral ejection canal has to be

Attaching mulch kit
1. Remove the collection box
(

, if used.
2. Lift the impact protection (6).
3. Insert the mulch kit (24). The
red locking button clicks into
place.

5. Insert the red locking button
downwards and remove the
mulch kit (24).
Lateral grass ejection
Before using the lateral grass ejec

tion, the mulch kit ( 24) has to
be inserted and the grass collection
box

has to be removed.
Install lateral ejection canal
1. Unlock the lateral impact protec
-
tion (15) by pulling the locking
lever (15a) upwards and opening
the lateral impact protection (15).
2. Mount the lateral ejection chan
-
nel (25) and remove the lateral
impact protection (15). It holds
the side ejection channel (25) in
position.
Installing the Starter Cord
1. Pull the safety catch (3) towards
the handle bar (1) and hold it.
2. Slowly pull the starter cord on the
starter handle (22) towards the
bar and hook the starter cord into
the starter cord guide (21).
3. Release the safety catch (3).
Filling with Engine Oil and
Checking the Oil Level
Place the equipment on a level
base.
1. Unscrew the oil filler cap and dipstick
(
7) and pour oil into the tank. The
oil tank holds 500 ml oil. Use brand oil
(e.g. SAE 30).
2. To check the oil level, wipe the
dipstick on a clean cloth and re
-
place it in the tank until it stops.
3. After pulling it out, read off the
oil level on the dipstick. The oil
level should be in the marked
area between the minimum and
