Starting the motor
. Start.the.engine.at.least.three.
metres.from.the.filling.location

1. Place the appliance on a solid and
even surface. Check that the bla-
de is not touching any objects or
the ground.
2. To start the ignition, move the On/
Off switch (11) to I.
3. If starting the engine afresh,
cold
start
warm
start
push the choke (18) to „cold
start“.
4. Press the fuel pump (primer)
(20) 6x until fuel starts coming out.
5. Hold the equipment firmly with
one hand on the top shaft tube
(37). With the other hand, pull
the starter cable several times
on the starter handle (19) until
the engine starts.
Caution! Do not pull the
starter cable out too far – risk
of breaking!
6. Let the engine warm up for
about 10 seconds.

If the equipment does not start,
repeat stages 3 to 5.
8. Hold the throttle lever

operate the throttle lever
(12).Set the choke lever (18) to
the “warm start” position.
9. Attach the equipment to the car-
rying strap that has been put on
(see chapter on “Putting on the
Carrying Strap”).
