The scoring blade set consists of an inner and
outer blade and four internal shims. Two of these
shims are 0.008" thick and two are 0.004". These
have been provided so the scoring blade set can
match the kerf thickness of the main blade.

shows a the scoring blade set laid out
for identification.

Replace the mounting plate and thread in the
center bolt without completely tightening it.

Position the riving knife about 3mm or

away from the nearest carbide tooth on the
main blade. Note—
For a quick gauge, use
the 3mm hex wrench to find the correct spac-
ing between the blade and the riving knife, as
shown in Figure 85.

9.
Tighten the center bolt to secure the riving
knife in position.
10.
Move the internal blade guard (from
step 4
)
back to its original position, and move the
sliding table back to center.
To change scoring blade set:
1.
Move the blade tilt to 0˚ on the control panel
(blade 90˚ to table), and raise the main blade
and scoring blade up as far as they will go.
2.
Disconnect the saw from the power
source!
3.
Move the sliding table all the way to the left
and push the release knob (

expose the internal blade guard that covers
the blades and riving knife.
