Edgebanding Inside
Corners
The included inside corner plate is used when
applying edgebanding tape to an inside corner
of a workpiece. The inside corner plate applies
pressure to the edgebanding tape in 90º corners.
To perform an inside corner edgebanding
operation:
1. Attach corner plate to base plate mounting
hole next to outfeed roller (see
Figure 22)
using cap screw pre-installed in corner plate.
2. Allow edgebander to preheat, then position
corner plate into inside corner (see
Figure
23).

3. Trim edgebanding tape according to
workpiece edge length, leaving a small
amount of excess to trim after banding it
applied.
4. With corner plate in inside corner of workpiece,
feed edgebanding tape through edgebander
until leading edge contacts inside corner of
workpiece, as shown in
Figure 24.

5. Move edgebander away from inside corner
of workpiece until operation is complete (see
Figure 25).
