Mounting
There are mounting holes provided through the
safe floor and back wall that are accessed from
inside the safe. Use the provided hardware or
fasteners of your choice to firmly anchor your safe
to a solid and stable surface.
The included fasteners are for mounting the safe
to floor or wall of masonry material (e.g., brick,
concrete). Refer to the illustration in
Figure 1 to
drill the hole, insert screw and shield into the hole,
then position the safe so that the protruding screw
threads go through the mounting hole in the safe.
As you tighten the hex nut, the shield will flare
against the walls of the hole to hold the fastener
in place.

Opening Safe Door the First Time
1. After you removing your new safe from the
shipping box, detach the two safe keys from
the outside of the safe.
2. Slide the battery compartment cover down,
then remove it to expose the keyhole (see
Figure 3).

If mounting the safe into wood, such as wall studs
or plywood-back flooring, you can use lag screws
and flat washers, as illustrated in
Figure 2.
