tips

For  best  results,  use  a  low  speed  setting
with  a  fine  grit,  or  when  sanding  plastics,
ceramics,  or  removing  painted  surfaces.
Use a high speed setting with a coarse grit,
and when removing a lot of material.

When  sanding  wood,  work  evenly  in  the
same direction as the grain. Keep the sand-
er moving so the finish stays consistent.

sanding  across  the  grain  may  be  neces-
sary  to  remove  rough  spots.  this  should
be done carefully,  as it can produce cross-
grain  scratching  that  may  be  difficult  to
remove.

Change  the  belt  as  soon  as  the  grit
becomes dull. to extend the life of the belt,
only apply as much force as necessary.
