coil to 10 – 15 cm over the ground
level. Now pay attention to this:
І
. If the detector produces
sound signal as it gets closer to the
ground, do this:
lift the detector
at 40 -50 cm above the ground
and turn “Ground balance”
slightly left
. Then near the
detector at 10 – 15 cm above the
ground level and watch if it makes
sound. If it does not produce any
sound, YOU HAVE SET IT TO THE
GROUND(it is ready to work), if it
produces sound again, repeat the
underlined procedure, until the
detector stops making sound when
it is close to the ground. sound
ІІ
. If the equipment produces
sound signal as you lift it up from
the ground do the following –
lift it
up at 40 – 50 cm from the
ground
and
turn
“Ground
balance” slightly to the right
.
Then near the detector at 5-10cm.
above the ground level and if it
makes sound again lift it back up
and repeat the procedure. If the
detector does not produce any
sound when you near it or you lift it
from the ground, YOU HAVE SET IT
TO THE DROUND and it is ready to
work. If the detector produces
sound when you lift it and when
you near it to the ground, then
decrease its sensitivity by
slightly
turning
the TUNE knob to the left.
When
you
have
set
the
equipment to the ground, you can
work with it. When you search hold
strong the detector and sweep
slowly the searching coil at 2-5 cm
above the ground level. Then you
can start detecting.
DETECTION
1. Preparation:
After charging the batteries,
turn the TUNE knob to the right to
turn on the detector. Then set the
critical sound. After that set the
detector to the ground using the
GROUND BALANCE knob. Then the
detector is ready to work. You
should connect the searching coil in
a place where there is not any
metal. When you search hold the
handle of the detector and sweep
the searching coil slowly at 2-5 cm
over the ground. When detects
metal,
the
detector
reacts
producing sound signal and the
control panel reads the change.
Take off all the clocks, metal
buttons etc. that you are wearing
and do not wear any boots with
metal on them.
Note:
- the searching coil will not detect
anything if it’s not moving
