6.6 Connection of discharge hose
We recommend that you fit an isolating valve on the
discharge side of the pump.
Procedure
1. Connect the pump discharge hose (fig.
, pos. 5)
to the water installation, such as the toilet.
2. Fasten the suction hose with hose clamps. The
first hose clamp must be fitted at a maximum
distance of 10-15 cm from the unit.
6.7 Level sensor installation
Procedure
1. Gently lower the sensor cable with sensor into
the collecting tank and lay the sensor on the
bottom of the tank. See fig.
.
– Lay a minimum of 0,5 metre of sensor cable on
the bottom of the tank.
2. For correct display of water level, measure the
maximum water level in the collecting tank.
– Measure from the bottom of the tank to the
overflow (for the purpose of calibration of the
level sensor). See section

Sensor cable for level sensor
Recommendation:
Connect the collecting tank to
the RMQ unit with a pipe (e.g. DN 100). The sensor
cable and the suction hose can be run through this
pipe.
•
Avoid water ingress into the sensor cable. Keep
the tape on the cable during the installation.
•
Adjust the cable length and connect the cable to
the unit. Connect the two stripped wires to the
terminals of the unit. See fig.
– The wires can be fitted randomly.
•
Remove the tape from the sensor cable.
