Connecting external devices

Connect the audio output of the external device to the audio
input socket »
Aux In
« on top of the hi-fi system using a stereo
jack plug (3.5 mm).

Connect the audio output socket »
Aux Out
« on the back of
the hi-fi system to the audio input socket of the external device
with a stereo jack plug (3.5 mm).
Note:
Switch the hi-fi system off before you connect external devices.
Connecting an MP3 player
The hi-fi system supports most MP3 players.

Switch off the hi-fi system.

Plug the USB cable of the MP3 player into the USB interface

« on top of the hi-fi system.
Note:
Switch off the hi-fi system before you pull out the USB cable.
Inserting the back-up batteriy
During mains operation, the back-up battery ensures that stored set-
tings are not lost in the case of a power failure or when the device is
briefly disconnected from the mains.

Open the »
Battery
« compartment on the back of the hi-fi
system by pressing down on the cover.

When inserting the batteriy (1 x CR2032, 3 V, lithium), make
sure the positive terminal (+) is facing upwards (see the marking
on the cover).

Close the battery compartment by putting on the lid and push-
ing it upwards.
Notes:
Do not expose the battery to extreme heat, caused for example
by direct sunlight, heaters or fire.
Take out the back-up battery when you know that the device will
not be used for a long period of time. The manufacturer accepts
no liability for damage caused by leaking batteries.
