FITTING GUIDE
STEREO REMOVAL
FASCIA PLATE SET-UP
1. Once you have taken the main head unit out of the dashboard, you will need to transfer the 4x retaining
clips onto the corresponding posts of the new fascia.
2. Take the brackets from within the kit and line them up to the rear of the new fascia and use the 6x
screws within the kit to attach them securely.
3. Take the new radio and slide this inbetween the brackets from behind the fascia panel. Line the holes up
correctly and attach them accordingly.
4. Take the rubber band and align this around the outside of the trim. When aligned correctly, this can
then be pushed onto the front of the fascia for a seamless looking fit.
1. Use a panel removal tool to free up the top vent panel which will have 3x retaining clips either side.
Once free, either disconnect the hazard switch connector and remove, or simply put to one side.
2. With the vent’s out of the way, this will uncover 2x phillips screws at either side of the radio. Undo these
screws and carefully remove them out of the dashboard.
3. When the top screws are out of the way, use the panel removal tool again to dislodge the 4x retaining
clips that hold the main head unit in place. Once free, remove completely whilst disconnecting the wiring.
5. With the bracketry aligned correctly, and the “
Stereo Installation
” process complete, you can then push
the head unit and fascia assembly into the dashboard to complete the installation.
