Additional functions of the colour buttons
The colour buttons have other functions for teletext

The teletext pages can be advanced step-by-step
upwards or downwards using the

If the TOP or FLOF text system is offered by a
broadcaster, the recorder automatically switches to
this system.

Multiple pages
Several pages may be grouped together under one
page number. The TV station automatically pages
through them.
Multiple pages are indicated by a mark located
beneath the time indication.
To hold a page from a group, press the

button.
Pressing the

button again releases the hold.

Increasing character height
Normal character height = basic setting
Repeatedly pressing the
¢
ї
button results in:
doubled character height in the top half of the table;
doubled character height in the bottom half of the
table;
normal character height throughout the table.

Revealing hidden text
Certain pages contain hidden information, for
example the solutions for brainteasers/puzzles or
the VPS/PDC times for programming the video
recorder.
Press the

Ƒ
button to makethe hidden informa-
tion visible.
Press the

Ƒ
button once again, and the infor-
mation will be hidden again.

Subtitles for TV programmes
Certain broadcasts are provided with subtitles for
the hearing impaired. The page numbers (e.g., page
150) for these subtitles are announced before the
broadcasts and can also be found in the teletext
pages » Subtitle Preview «.
At the beginning of the broadcast, press the
