CLEANING AND CARE

Cleaning with the brush

Use the button 

to switch off

the appliance.

To remove the foil frame, press
on one of the side catches 
with your thumb to lift up this
side of the foil frame.
Then press the second catch on
the other side and lift up the foil
frame.

Remove the blade blocks 

for

cleaning by pulling them up-
wards off the oscillator  .

Carefully brush hair clippings
out of the blade blocks, the foils
and the housing. 

Caution

The foils can be irreparably
damaged during cleaning. Do
not press on the foils.

Put all parts on again after
cleaning.

To ensure smooth operation, the
foils must sit exactly in the foil
frame and this must be inserted
exactly in the housing. During
cleaning, the foils remain in the
foil frame. Only release the foils
from the frame when they are
replaced.

Replacing the cutting foils
and blade blocks

You can replace the cutting foils
and the blade blocks. The appro-
priate replacement shaving system
(containing two blade blocks and
one foil frame) is article number
MSR 58. Ask your specialist
dealer about it.

Replacing the cutting foils

Use the button 

to switch off

the device.

To remove the foil frame, press
on one of the side catches 
with your thumb to lift up this
side of the foil frame.
Then press the second catch on
the other side and lift up the foil
frame.

Fix the foil frame with the new
cutting foils in the housing.

Caution

Ensure that the foil frame is
firmly in position and cannot
move within the housing.
