Rechargeable
battery operation
When operating the appliance with
the built-in nickel metal hydride bat-
tery, only use the power adapter sup-
plied for charging.
The power adapter has an automatic
100 - 240 V~, 50-60 Hz transformer
which works anywhere in the world.
This allows it to adjust to all interna-
tional AC voltages.

Push the On/Off switch

Plug the power adapter

into the
power adapter socket

and the
power adapter plug into the wall
socket.
– During the charging process, the
LED battery indicator

up blue.
– When the appliance is fully
charged, all of the five LEDs
light up.

Pull the power adapter

out of
the power adapter socket

and
the power adapter plug out of the
wall socket.
Notes

Before first use or if you have not
used them for a long time, charge
up the batteries completely (about
14 hours).
■
After each further use, charging
time is approx. 2 hours.
■
The ambient temperature should
be between 15°C and 35°C.
■
If you switch on the appliance
while it is charging, charging will
be interrupted.
■
When fully charged, the appliance
works for around 50 minutes. It is
not advisable to charge the bat-
teries after each use. Generally,
you should only charge the bat-
teries when they are completely
discharged. This increases their
service life.

The LED battery indicator

cates the remaining battery charge
levels 100%, 80%, 60%, 40 %,
20%. When the “20%” level LED
is flashing, the batteries are almost
flat and you should charge the ap-
pliance.

You can use the appliance with
the adapter connected to the wall
socket or in battery mode.
