Rectifying minor problems
Not every kind of sound interference is caused by a defect in your HiFi system. Impairment
can also be caused by leads having been accidentally pulled out, damaged CDs and worn
out batteries in the remote control. If the following measures do not bring about
satisfactory results, consult an authorised dealer.
GENERAL PROBLEMS
Problem
The HiFi switches itself off.
The HiFi does not function.
No output signal.
The left and right channels are inverted.
Bass sound missing.
The remote control is not functioning.
RADIO RECEPTION
Problem
No output signal.
Loud noise interference.
The reception signal is weak.
Possible cause/remedy
The transformer could be overheated. Switch of the HiFi
and remove all objects that could possibly cover the air
vents on the rear side of the HiFi and let it cool down for
approximately 15 minutes before you switch it on again.
Problems due to electrostatic discharge. Switch the HiFi
off and on again using the
POWER
button or pull out
the mains plug and then plug it in again.
Increase the volume (+). Disconnect the headphones.
Check the connection to the loudspeaker module. Make
sure the MUTING function is not activated.
Check the connection to the loudspeaker module.
Check the connection to the loudspeaker module.
Change batteries.
Wrong angle or distance to the device too great.
Possible Cause/Remedy
The MUTING function is activated due to poor stereo
reception. Select FM MONO or correct the frequency
manually.
Adjust the antenna.
Connect an external antenna for better reception.
