Audio
Press the
AUDIO
button to display the current audio mode;
for example:
By repeatingly pressing the
AUDIO
, selection can be made
between
sound 1 = mainsound, broad
sound 2 = subsound, mono narrow and
sound 3 = Pandaton*, Stereo.

In case of stereo reception, an LED

on the receiver comes
on. Quick scrolling results from pressing one of the
ɼ ɦ
button. For example:
The frequency can be changed between 5.00 MHz and
9.99 MHz in 10 kHz increments.
Constant pressure on one of the
ɼ ɦ
buttons results in quick
scrolling.
Direct frequency input is possible using the remote control
numeric buttons. Tuning begins only after the third digit is
entered.
Selecting radio operation
You can switch from SAT/TV to radio operation using the
RADIO
button and visa versa. The most previous selected
programme is automatically selected (Last Station Memory).

In order to take advantage of optimum sound quality, connect
the receiver to your hifi system. As the picture , which has
nothing to do with the sound, can disturb the sound, you can
switch the TV off.

Adjusting video range
Frequency modulated satellite signals are transmitted at
various shift values. The reciever must be appropriately
adjusted for correct picture quality.
Press the
VIDEO
button; video shift and polarity are shown in
display, for example:

you can select between video shift h1 =
25 MHz, h2 = 22,5 MHz and h3 = 16 MHz and h -1, h -2 and
h -3.
For reception of C and S band with 4 or 2.5 Ghz LNCs, video
signal inversion is required; therefore, select h-1...h-3
setting.

The programme postition number is selected in the program-
me mode with the
ɼ ɦ
buttons.
With SAT reception, the programme positions
P1 ... P199 or with radio P1 ... P99 are shown in the display.
The OSD (On Screen Display) – shows the programme position
number in the upper right hand corner of the screen for
approx. 3 seconds.
The input is changed in the other modi with the
ɼ ɦ
buttons.
Constant pressure one of these buttons results in quick scrol-
ling.
Switch the receiver from stand by with the
ɼ ɦ
buttons to the
last selected SAT programme position
(Last Station Memory).
Memory
All altered data is stored after pressing the
MEMORY
button.
