Cleaning and Care
Caution
▪
Do not carry the appliance when
the coffee pot is placed onto its
base. Coffee pot may get dama-
ged.
▪
Never use gasoline, solvent, abra-
sive cleaning agents, metal objects
or hard brushes to clean the app-
liance.
▪
Never immerse the appliance or
its power cable in water or in any
other liquid.

Unplug the appliance before star-
ting any cleaning procedure.

Wait for the appliance to cool
down.

ning water.

Do not clean the heating surface

and coffee pot with abrasive
sponge or steel wool. Wash it with
a soft sponge. Pat particular atten-
tion not to scratch these surfaces.
Caution

Never wash the coffee pot

in
dishwasher.
▪
Do not wash any part of the appli-
ance apart from the coffee pot. You
can wipe with a damp cloth.

In order to preserve the taste of the
coffee you would prepare, clean
the coffee pot

after every coo-
king operation without waiting.

Use a damp and soft cloth and
a little amount of soft cleanser in
order to clean the exterior of the
appliance.

Do not neglect to wipe the cooking
level detection sensor

operations.

Place the coffee pot

onto its
seat.
Descaling
In order to clean the residue that may
form in the cooking chamber due to stan-
dard use without damaging the inner
base surface of the cooking chamber,
pour one table spoon of citric acid and
pour boiling water on the citric acid and
fill it up by 1/3. Keep the solution inside
for 10 minutes. After the waiting period
you can use the cooking chamber by
rinsing it.
