Carefully press the iPhone into place. If you meet any
resistance, check to make sure that the dock connector
is mating correctly to the connector on the bottom
of the phone. Do not force the phone over the dock
connector - it should slide into place easily. Once you
are confident that the connectors are mating, press
the phone all the way down into the rubber dock. The
performance of the Ampli-Phone depends upon an air
tight seal at all joints. To achieve a tight seal, you must
press the phone firmly and fully into the rubber dock.
Install the rubber Dock over the hole in
the top of the Throat. Make sure that it
is firmly attached and installed as far as
it will go. Insert the Throat and Dock
into the square hole at the back of the
Horn, facing up as shown at left. Press
it in until it is fully seated as shown
in the photograph below. The throat
does not lock into place, so it may be
removed and reinserted at any time.
