Batteries
The
batteries
are
for
the
purpose
backing
up
the
clock
and
save
the
present
station
information
in
case
AC
power
is
not
present.
2
pieces
of
AAA
size
battery
are
required
which
does
not
come
along
with
the
machine.
Make
sure
they
are
install
in
the
correct
polar
as
marked
on
the
compartment.
Do
not
mix
used
batteries
with
new
batteries
when
install.
Connect
the
Power
Plug
the
AC
adapter
that
comes
along
to
the
AC
outlet;
connect
the
DC
plug
into
GET
STARTED

;

the
jack
at
the
back
of
the
unit.
Caution:
Do
not
mix
up
AC
adapters
of
other
appliance,
such
improper
connection
might
lead
to
damage
of
the
unit.
Set
the
Current
Time
1.
Go
Standby
Mode:
Make
sure
the
unit
is
properly
powered
with
time
displayed
and
not
turned
on
with
radio
or
other
sound.
2.
Check
DST
Status:
Check
if
DST
indication
coincides
with
the
current
time
season.
Press
to
toggle
till
the
DST
indicator
shows
correctly.
3.
Enter
Time
Setting
Mode:
If
it
is
the
first
time
to
power
up,
the
showing
time
would
be
blinking,
indicating
Time
Setting
Mode;
if
not,
press
and
hold
until
the
showing
time
blinks.
4.
Adjust
the
Time:
Press
to
adjust
Hour
,
press
to
adjust
Minute
.
5.
Done,
Exit
Time
Setting
Mode:
Slightly
press
,
or
keep
none
of
the
buttons
pressed
for
a
while,
Time
Setting
Mode
is
exited,
the
set
current
time
is
shown
consistently
without
blinking.
DST
(Daylight
Saving
Time)
On
and
Off
– for
Applicable
Regions
Only
For
regions
where
DST
scheme
is
implemented,
the
time
is
mended
1
hour
ahead
beginning
on
the
scheduled
date
for
summer,
and
mended
1
hour
behind
on
the
other
scheduled
date
for
winter.
When
the
unit
is
turned
off,
press

the
DST
indicator
goes
on
or
off
as
you
press,
and
the
current
time
mends
ahead
or
behind
by
1
hour
accordingly.

unit
