Empty fuel tank
Fill up the tank;
check to see whether the carburettor
has any fuel;
Check the tank ventilation and punch a
hole in the tank cap with a needle
No ignition spark
Clean the spark plugs and ensure that
there is a 0.6 - 0.8 mm electrode gap,
insert them again if possible;
Check the ignition cable;
Have the ignition system checked by a
service centre
The spark plug is wet from petrol
(oversaturated engine).
Remove the spark plugs, clean and dry
them;
Pull the starter cord several times with
the spark plugs unscrewed
Blade is blocked
Make sure that the shredder is not
blocked.
Oil level sensor
Check the oil level, fill up if necessary.
Place the device horizontally.
Ejected shredded material
Blade is blunt
Sharpen or turn the blade
