Safety instructions
Read carefully these Operating Instructions.
Familiarise with the controls and proper use of the
machine. Keep the Operating Instructions for future
reference.
General
The battery-powered lawn mower has been designed to
treat grass areas and lawns for private purposes. The
mower must not be used for other purposes due to the
physical danger to the user and other persons.
Never cut when there are persons, especially children,
around.
Cut under adequate visibility only.
The mower must not be exposed to temperatures
exceeding 80°C, i.e. do not let the mower stand outdoors
in direct sunlight or for a longer time in the boot, e.g. of a
vehicle.
Please be sure to know that the user is responsible for any
injuries and damage caused to third parties or their
property.
Before cutting
Cut with solid shoes and long trousers only, never cut
when barefooted or in sandals.
Check the ground where the machine is to be used for any
items that may get caught and be thrown away by the
mower and remove these items (stones, branches, etc.).
Check the cables on the machine for any damage and
aging (fragility) and have them repaired by an electrician.
At regular intervals, check the collection box for any wear
and deformation.
Before each use, check (visual inspection) the cutting tools
and their fasteners for any damage.
To prevent imbalance, any damaged or worn-out parts
need to be replaced in sets only.
When cutting
Do not tilt the machine when starting the engine and when
the start key is inserted.
Keep the safety distance delimited by the handles.
Turn the engine on only when your feet are in a safe
distance from the cutting blade.
Make sure your posture is safe. Proceed easily forward
with the mower.
Cutting on slopes:
Cut across slopes at all times, not up and down.
Be particularly careful when changing direction
Do not cut on too steep slopes
Be particularly careful when reversing with the mower or
pulling it to you.
Never touch in the rotating cutting blade
Never stand in front of the grass ejection hole when
opened.
