EMERGENCY PROCEDURES
3-1
The information in section 3, emergency procedures, is approved by EASA.
Introduction
The following emergency procedures describe the actions the pilot must
take, relative to the various possible failures that can occur.
However, depending on the many variable external environments, such as
the type of terrain flown over, the pilot may have to adapt to the situation
according to his experience.
To help the pilot in his decision process, three recommendations are used :
•
LAND IMMEDIATELY
•
LAND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
Emergency conditions are urgent and require landing at the nearest landing
site at which a safe landing can be made.
•
CONTINUE FLIGHT
Continue flight as planned. Repair at the destination according to
maintenance manual.
Note: Immediate action that the pilot shall take, or main parameters
are written in bold characters.
In addition to procedures, Warnings, Cautions and Notes can highlight
specific points according to the following definitions:
Warning

followed, could result in personal injury to, or death of, personnel.
Caution
