Safety rules when assembling/servicing the lifting platform
There is a danger of being crushed between the platform”s movable parts
when working under the platform.
Therefore, the following safety rules MUST be followed:
1. The safety chain/strap must always be used when working under the plat-
form.
2. The lifting platform must NOT be raised or lowered while working under the
platform, even when the safety equipment is installed.
3. Once the platform is assembled and connected so that it can be raised and
lowered, only one person may work on it at a time.
Safety equipment
When working under the platform, the
safety chain/strap MUST be used.
The safety chain/strap is fitted
be tween the special safety eyelets on
the scissors or the two central tubes
of the scissors (see picture). Once
the chain/strap has been fitted, lower
the platform until the chain is taut, i.e.
until the traction wheel “releases” the
curve.

1. Unscrew the mounting screws which are premounted from the factory on
the upper plate.
2. Mount the safety edge/railing on the upper plate and tighten the screws
again.
