TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
Gulf Coast Spa Manufacturers always has endeavored to represent spas that are second to none in
terms of quality. Problems may arise that may or, or may not require service. If a problem does arise,
check the following troubleshooting guide for a solution. If the problem cannot be solved in this
manner, please call our service hotline 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at (727) 573-9888 or refer to

PROBLEM
SOLUTION
95 FLASHING ON TOP SIDE
CONTROL
CAUSE: Power to spa has been
disrupted.
Reset desired temperature and filtration cycle,
resume normal operations.
PROGRAMMED FILTRATION
CYCLE HAS STOPPED
PREMATURELY
CAUSE: Light was turned on.
Turn off light by pressing light key. Filtration will resume and
complete the programmed cycle 40 minutes beyond the last
manual activation/de-activation.
NOTHING WORKS
CAUSE: Breaker has tripped.
Check and reset breaker. If the problem persists, check all
electrical connections to ensure none are loose.
WATER WILL NOT HEAT
CAUSE 1: Filter is dirty.
CAUSE 2: Thermostat is too low.
CAUSE 3: Fuse is blown.
CAUSE 4: Slide shut-off valves
are closed partially or completely.
Check and clean filter.
Check and reset to desired temperature.
Check and replace fuse.
Check and open all valves.
POOR JET PRESSURE
CAUSE 1: Filter is dirty.
CAUSE 2: System is air locked.
CAUSE 3: Jets are closed.
Check and clean filter.
Purge/bleed system at heater tube. (see
www.GulfCoastSpas.com)
Open jets by rotating counterclockwise.
WATER IS TOO HOT/OVER
TEMPERATURE
CAUSE 1: System is filtering too
long.
CAUSE 2: Thermostat is set too
high.
Reduce filtration time to 01.
Reset temperature to lower setting.
(If the weather is extremely hot, remove the spa cover. Running
the blower may help cool the water. Add cold water if
necessary.)
