Starting up the unit
The following procedure should be followed when starting
the pool heat pump for the first time:
1. Start the pool’s circulation pump. Check for any leakage
and that there is a flow to and from the pool.
2. Apply power supply to the pool heat pump and check
the operation settings using the display.
3. Press and hold the On/Off button on the display for
about a second. The unit will then start after a few
seconds.
4. After a few minutes, check that the exhaust air is colder
than the outdoor air temperature (5–10 °C).
5. Stop the pool’s circulation pump and make sure that the
pool heat pump stops automatically and displays the E03
error.
6. Let the system run around the clock until the required
temperature is reached. The pool heat pump will only be
disabled when it exceeds the preferred temperature by
1 degree. The pool heat pump will then start again when
the temperature in the pool drops by 1 degree below the
required temperature.
Flow switch: The pool heat pump is equipped with a flow
switch that prevents starting in the event of insufficient water
flow.
Time delay: The compressor will start after a delay of
approximately 1 minute to prevent repeated restarts and
compressor wear. Even a brief power failure activates the
start delay of 1 minute.
Installation of WiFi module
Connect the accompanying WiFi module to the connector
marked WiFi, which is located in the pool heat pump’s
junction box.
If the signal strength of the wireless network to which the
pool heat pump is connected is weak, the pool heat pump
has an accompanying 20 metre long cable for installing the
WiFi module closer to the wireless network.
The WiFi module is fitted with a magnetic mount at the
rear allowing you to easily attach it to a suitable surface.
If the surface is not suitable for magnetic attachment, an
installation plate is also included for use.
Instructions for connecting the pool heat pump to the
wireless network are available in the PoolTemp app that you
can download on your smart phone (iPhone/Android) free of
charge.
