• The distance of the lower limit of the hood above the hob surface must be at least 65
cm - for electric hobs, and not less than 75 cm for gas or combined hobs. If the
instructions for installing a gas hob stipulates a greater distance, then take this into
account.
• Before installation, make sure that the work area is clean to prevent wood chips and
dust from getting into the hood.
• Do not use hoods on ventilation ducts / chimneys that are used to remove air from
other appliances, such as fireplaces, ovens, etc.
• The bend of the ventilation pipe should not exceed 120
, it should be laid parallel to
or above the starting point and be brought to the outer wall.
• After installation, make sure that the grease trap is positioned horizontally to avoid the
accumulation of fat on one side.
INSTALLATION & CONNECTION
1) Draw a vertical line on the wall to the ceiling or to the required height, marking the
centre of the area where the hood will be installed (see Fig. 1).
2) Draw a horizontal line at a height of 650-750 mm from the surface of the electric hob
or gas hob (see Fig. 1).
3) Add the mounting bracket 8 on the wall at a distance of 30 mm from the ceiling or
the existing upper limit, aligning in the centre relative to the vertical line (see Fig. 1).
4) Make marks on the wall in the centre of the holes in the bracket (see Fig. 1).
5) Add the mounting bracket 9 on
the wall, aligning in the centre
relative to the vertical line. (see
Fig. 1)
6) Make marks on the wall in the
centre of the holes in the bracket
(see Fig. 1).
7) Drill all holes with a diameter of
10 mm in the centre of all the
marks. Attach both brackets with
screws and anchors.
