Modular design of the matrix switch
Thanks to its modular design, you can expand the matrix switch
ControlCenter-Digi-
tal-160
with IO cards or other system components.
Overview of matrix switch components
The switch card
CCD-Switch-Card-160
and the controller card
CCD-Control-Card
are
placed on the front panel of the matrix switch. In case of a failure, both cards can be
replaced separately.
Both cards are required to operate the matrix switch and are part of the package con-
tents. The cards have the following tasks:
The
switch card (1)
contains the central switching logic of the matrix switch.
The
controller card (2)
manages, monitors and controls all functions of the matrix
switch.
