Safety notes
These operating instructions should have
been read and understood in full prior
to use. In case of any queries or doubts,
please refer to a dealer or to the manu-
facturer directly. It is imperative the safety
regulations are observed and complied
with. Any other use is considered to be
improper. Improper use and non-observa-
tion of the safety regulations may lead to
accidents resulting in damage and injury
for which the manufacturer will assume no
liability.
Only original parts from the manufacturer
may be used as accessories and spare
parts!
The statutory warranty and the guarantee
cover material, manufacturing or design
errors for which are responsible. Dama-
ge attributable to natural wear, improper
handling or modification are not covered
by the warranty or guarantee.
Country-specific regulations for the use of
ladders must be observed.
Storage
To prevent damage and deformation, store
ladders in a dry condition, shielded from
direct sunlight and weather conditions on
a flat, clean surface or on suitable ladder
holders.
Storage should be in locations where lad-
ders cannot be damaged by vehicles,
heavy objects or contaminants.
During storage, make sure that the lad-
ders do not pose a risk of tripping or an
obstacle.
Ladders should not be stored with easy
accessibility to restrict their use for crimi-
nal purposes.
When ladders are set-up permanently,
make sure that they are not being used by
unauthorised persons (e.g. children).
Repair and maintenance
Repair and maintenance work to ladders
must be performed by expert personnel
and in accordance with the manufacturer’s
instructions. And in the case of ladders
used in a professional context, they must
be inspected by a competent person.
A competent person is anybody posses-
sing the knowledge of how to perform
repairs or maintenance work; e.g. after
receiving training from the manufacturer.
In the event of doubt, ladders should be
repaired by specialist companies or the
manufacturer.
In the event of repairs and the replace-
ment of parts – e.g. feet – the manufactu-
rer or dealer must be contacted if neces-
sary.
Depending on usage frequency and
environmental influences, ladders must be
serviced regularly. This involves cleaning,
function checks of moving parts and, if
necessary, cleaning.
Treat heavy soiling with warm water and
commercially available cleaning agents,
and dry down the ladders with a clean
cloth. Solvent-based cleaning agents must
